EDINBURGH, Aug 2 ― All Malaysian divers in the women's 3m springboard individual event have qualified for the final which will be held this evening.

They are Ng Yan Yee, Nur Dhabitah Sabri and Cheong Jun Hoong.

In the qualifying round this morning, Yan Yee was the best Malaysian participant after completing with 310.95 points to take the fifth place.

Meanwhile, Nur Dhabitah was placed seventh with 292.35 points and Jun Hoong in 12th position with 257.15 points.

In the men's 10m platform individual qualifying round, Ooi Tze Liang and Chew Yiwei made the cut with fifth and ninth positions respectively.

Tzu Liang, the men's 3m springboard individual gold medalist collected 419.50 points while Yiwei garnered 367.15 points.

The women's 3m springboard final will be held at 6.05pm (1.05am Malaysian time tomorrow) while the men's 10m platform individual will be held at 7.30pm (2.30am Malaysian time tomorrow). ― Bernama
