Victory a tonic for T-Team in coming matches , says Azraai

KUALA TERENGGANU, March 9 — T-Team regard its 2-0 win over Sarawak in their Super League match at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium here last night, as a tonic for subsequent matches.

Chief coach Mohd Azraai Khor Abdullah said this was because Sarawak were a team to be reckoned with since they have strong players in every position.

 “This is a rise of the T-Team to boost its position from the bottom to a better one,” he told reporters here adding that T-Team would give a better performance when meeting Selangor PKNS in their next match.

He said import player, Patrich Steve Wanggai, who had recovered from an injury may be fielded again to help the team's performance.

The former Kedah coach said the performance of the team, which was not very consistent in the past, has been improving steadily.

He said, regardless of the win against Sarawak, T-Team would start the match against Selangor PKNS as underdogs.  — Bernama
