KUANTAN, Nov 14 -- The question of whether Pahang coach Dollah Salleh will continue in his capacity remained unanswered as the Pahang Football Association (Pahang FA) has yet to make a decision.
Pahang FA deputy president Datuk Seri Muhammad Safian Ismail said a decision on whether Dollah would be retained as the coach for next season has not been finalised.
“We have to make the right decision since Pahang had just won the Malaysia Cup and certainly we want to retain it. At the same time it does not mean Pahang must be coached by a foreigner because even a local coach can get the job done,” he told reporters, here, today.
However, Muhammad Safian did not deny that the Pahang FA was also looking at the CV of several coaches, in case Dollah’s services were not available.
Muhammad Safian said a decision on the matter would depend on Pahang FA President Tengku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ahmad Shah.
He added that Pahang FA would make an announcement after a special meeting that would be held soon.
