SINGAPORE, Aug 3 — Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong will deliver his National Day Message on August 8, with the first English broadcast scheduled for 6.45pm on CNA and CNA938, his office said today.

Messages in Mandarin, Malay and Tamil will follow across Mediacorp’s TV and radio channels:

Mandarin at 7pm on Channel 8 and Capital 958

Malay at 8.30pm on Suria

Tamil at 9pm on Vasantham and Oli 968 

Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong will deliver the Mandarin message, Acting Minister‑in‑charge of Muslim Affairs Zaqy Mohamad will deliver the Malay version, and Minister of State Dinesh Vasu Dash will deliver the Tamil message. All four versions will be available on the PMO website and YouTube after the initial broadcasts.

Last year, Wong urged Singaporeans to remain “exceptional” amid global uncertainty and rapid technological change, highlighting the need to embrace innovations such as artificial intelligence and robotics.
