Police in Singapore arrest two women after cyclist clung to moving car’s bonnet (VIDEO)

SINGAPORE — Two women aged 49 and 31 have been arrested for allegedly committing a rash act, the police told TODAY yesterday (June 5).

Last Friday, an alleged confrontation between a driver and cyclist took place along East Coast Road.

In a video clip posted on Facebook page Beh Chia Lor, the cyclist — wearing a blue helmet and yellow shirt — was seen jumping onto the bonnet of a car, after an alleged argument with the car driver.

The car then accelerated in the direction of i12 Katong Mall, with the cyclist still clinging to the bonnet.

It was unclear what transpired after the video clip ended.

The police said then that they had received a call for assistance along 112 East Coast Road at 3.20pm.

No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing. — TODAY
