87 new Covid-19 infections in Singapore, including 13 imported cases and 1 in community

SINGAPORE, Aug 23 — Singapore confirmed 87 new cases of Covid-19 infection today, including 13 that are imported and one in the community.

The 13 imported cases had all been placed on stay-home notice upon arrival in Singapore, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said.

The sole community case is a work pass holder.

The total number of cases in Singapore now stands at 56,353. — TODAY
