Singapore reports 313 new Covid-19 cases, including five imported and one in the community

SINGAPORE, Aug 2 — The Ministry of Health (MOH) today reported 313 new cases of Covid-19, including five that are imported and one in the community — a Singapore permanent resident.

The five imported cases had all been placed on stay-home notice upon arrival in Singapore, MOH said.

The remaining cases are work permit holders residing in dormitories.

In all, the total number of infections in Singapore now stands at 52,825. — TODAY
