SEOUL, Aug 31 — BTS ranked No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Tours chart for July after generating more than US$102.5 million (RM412 million) in revenue from eight shows on its ongoing Arirang world tour.

The Weeknd led the monthly ranking with US$124 million from 16 performances, according to The Korea Herald

Billboard said the group is “the third act to gross a reported US$100 million in multiple months,” placing BTS alongside Beyoncé and Bad Bunny in the chart’s historical records.

BTS had topped Billboard’s monthly tour revenue tally in both April and May before slipping to second place in July.

The tour amassed approximately US$433.2 million in cumulative revenue and sold more than 2.3 million tickets as of early August, based on Billboard’s data.

The group will perform four shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles starting tomorrow, continuing Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, to conclude the second US leg of its world tour.
