SEOUL, Aug 14 — K-pop group BTS recorded its highest-ever favourability rating among US respondents in the second quarter, with 46 per cent saying they had a positive impression of the group, according to market data cited by its agency.

Yonhap News Agency reported that BigHit Music cited data from global music analytics firm Luminate, which has tracked the figure since 2021, showing BTS’ favourability had risen 12 percentage points from 34 per cent in the initial survey.

The latest poll also found that 42 per cent of respondents were aware of BTS, compared with an average of 24 per cent for all artists surveyed.

BigHit Music said the findings showed that BTS had built broad support in the United States beyond its established fan base.

“The latest survey results show that BTS has established a broad base of public support in the United States that extends beyond its fandom,” BigHit said.
