TAIPEI, June 30 — F4 member Vanness Wu surprised fans yesterday by announcing his remarriage via a simple but intimate social media post featuring a photo of intertwined hands with matching wedding bands .

The 47-year-old Taiwanese-American singer and actor has now been confirmed to have married Japanese singer and artist Emi Aramaki (荒卷繪美), with the couple having registered their marriage in Las Vegas in early May .

The announcement came shortly after Wu completed the Manila leg of the "FFOREVER 1st World Tour" with his F4 bandmates Jerry Yan and Vic Chou, alongside Mayday frontman Ashin . The bride's identity has been revealed as Emi Aramaki, a Japanese singer, artist, and actress with an impressive international background . Born in Fukuoka, Japan, Aramaki moved to London, England, at age 9 and later graduated from University College London (UCL) with a degree in History .

Aramaki has built a diverse career across the US, UK, and Japan. She has released original music, with her debut Japanese single "Purple Dream" launched in 2024, blending Western pop with Japanese City Pop influences inspired by icons like Akina Nakamori and Mariya Takeuchi . She also has acting credits, having guest-starred in the fourth season of the American television series FBI: International .

This marriage marks Wu's second. He was previously married to Singaporean entrepreneur Arissa Cheo from 2013 until their divorce in 2018 .
