KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 15 — Actor Fattah Amin, 35, married singer Amira Othman, 32, in a ceremony at Dewan Utama, Golden Palm Tree Bagan Lalang, last night.

The solemnisation was completed at 9.08pm, marking Fattah’s second time as a groom, Buletin TV3 reported.

The couple was married by former Federal Territories Mufti Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al Bakri, who represented Amira’s father, Othman Abdul Kadir.

For the exchange of gifts, the groom presented five trays while the bride returned with seven trays.

Amira, whose real name is Nadia Amira Othman, received a gold bracelet as her dowry.

The ceremony, attended by family and close friends, was also broadcast live.

Amira wore a modern white baju kurung designed by Teh Firdaus, while Fattah appeared in a white baju Melayu by Rizman Ruzaini.

Celebrities including Nora Danish, Hawa Rizwana, Betty Rahmad, Sissy Imann, Wany Hasrita, Ernie Zakri, and Syamel were among the guests, while Fattah’s previous marriage ended in divorce last October, with one daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya, 5, from that union.
