KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 — As a run-up to their November concert, iconic Hong Kong band The Wynners will be having a meet the fans session on September 27.

To be held at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, five members of the band — Alan Tam, Kenny B, Anthony Chan, Bennett Chang and Danny Yip — will be present at the event that will kick off at 8pm.

In a statement, concert organiser Star Planet said the meeting precedes the band's Malaysia leg of Farewell with LOVE tour.

The quintet, who disbanded last month after having seven sold-out shows at the Hong Kong Coliseum, will be performing at the Axiata Arena on November 4.

The Wynners was formed in Hong Kong in 1973, creating chart-topping pop rock hits like Sha La-La-La-La and L-O-V-E Love.

After the 1980s, the band would reunite on stage every five years for successful concert tours.

Tickets for The Wynners, who last performed in Malaysia in February 2020, will go live tomorrow from 2pm, with prices from RM288 to RM958 for a VIP ticket.
