KUALA LUMPUR, August 16 — Rock band Butterfingers will entertain fans at a one-night-only concert in Stadium Melawati, Shah Alam this October 7.

Four years after their last concert, the band known for their take of grunge will be making a comeback, this time in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their fourth studio album, Malayneum.

Leaving a trail of hints since July, Butterfingers finally announced the concert yesterday via their social media.

"After a long-awaited hiatus since ‘Transcendence 20 Years’ in 2019, Butterfingers is making a triumphant return!

"Get ready to get your hunger fixed, and experience Malayneum 20 on October 7th, 2023!” the band wrote in their Instagram’s post.

Fans can expect hits from the album such as Malayneum, Mating Season, Ginseng as well as Suddenly.

Since their inception in 1993, Butterfingers has released a total of six albums to date.

The band recently headlined local music festival Nusafest 2023 on July 9, rocking out to around 5,000 concertgoers.

Tickets for Butterfingers Malayneum 20th concert are available with ticketing price starting from RM99 to RM499.
