KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 — Director Aziz M Osman and wife Puteri Lily Lokman divorced earlier this month after 13 years of marriage.

Producer Puteri Lily made the announcement on her Instastory yesterday, saying that she felt it was necessary to go public with their marital status as many have asked her about it.

She also said the split was amicable and not caused by a third party, reported mStar.

"Our time together ends here but we still maintain a good relationship for the sake of our children,” she said.

Puteri Lily and Aziz were married on June 6, 2010 and have two children Puteri Azzahra, 11 and Putera Mohamad Aryan, five.

Aziz was previously married to Nor Aliah Lee in 1992 before divorcing in 2007.

He and Nor Aliah have six children together.

After his divorce with Nor Aliah, he married Nor Radhiah in 2008 but the marriage was annulled by the Syariah Court.
