Taiwanese singer Wakin Chau adds second KL show on September 10 after overwhelming demand for tickets

KUALA LUMPUR, June 27 — Taiwanese singer Wakin Chau is set to add another show to his upcoming Malaysian stopover of his tour on September 10 at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.

Tickets for the singer’s first Malaysian Wakin Chau 2023 World Tour concert went live on June 16 and had sold out in 90 minutes, according to organiser Star Planet.

After overwhelming demand, Chau has decided to hit the stage one more time.

Chau’s Malaysian tour dates will now take place over two nights in a row from September 9 to 10, with an expected turnout of 20,000 concertgoers for both shows.

The evergreen singer will perform his most popular music soundtracks from the ’90s and his timeless love ballads in a new and fresh way.

Fans of Chau can expect to take a trip down musical memory lane of his greatest songs and melodies.

Tickets to Chau’s extra show are priced from RM288 and will be available on July 4 from 2pm onwards at my.bookmyshow.com.
