KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 —Television dramas Dekatkan Jarak Kita and Titian Cinta won big at Drama Filem Kuala Lumpur (DFKL) Awards last night held at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).

Dekatkan Jarak Kita, from JS Pictures bagged the Most Popular Drama while its main characters portrayed by Syafik Kyle and Ayda Jebat won Most Popular Couple in the event which was based on popular votes by fans.

The drama adaptation of Syu Ariani’s short story got director’s Azman Yahya touched and aired on Nov 21 on TV3’s Samarinda.

Meanwhile, Titian Cinta won four awards through Most Popular Director (Heykal Hanifah), Favorite Script (Farhana Fauri) and Most Favourite Theme Song Sumpah Cintaku by Asfan.

Luck was also on actor Zul Ariffin’s side when he was named Most Popular Actor for his role in Titian Cinta while Janna Nick bagged Most Popular Actress for her role in Biar Aku Jadi Penunggu.

The optional Most Popular Antagonist award was won by Shukri Yahaya for his portrayal of the baddie in Andainya Takdir.

The DFKL 2018 award was broadcast live on TV3 with Ajak Shiro and Nabila Huda as hosts.
