LOS ANGELES, April 26 — The Rolling Stones are documenting a monumental era in rock’n’roll with the release of a new US$500 (RM1,957) vinyl box set that features every Stones album since 1971.

The Studio Albums Vinyl Collection 1971-2016 will feature 15 albums across 20 LPs, including Exile on Main St, Goats Head Soup and Some Girls, running all the way up to 2016’s Blue & Lonesome.

All of the albums have been remastered and cut at half-speed at Abbey Road Studios and will come in faithful replications of the original packaging, such as Andy Warhol’s original design for Sticky Fingers, complete with working zip and hidden image underneath.

Each album is pressed on 180-gram black vinyl and includes a download card to obtain high-quality digital versions as well as a numbered certificate of authentication.
