KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 — He has the looks, a charming smile and a voice that won him millions of fans since his appearance on X-Factor UK in 2010.
Mention Harry Styles to One Directioners and they are bound to tell you that his musical ability is one of a kind.
Since One Direction’s hiatus in 2016, Styles’ solo journey has been nothing short of amazing ― performing to sold-out shows in 15 countries.
On May 3, his tour will take him to Singapore’s Indoor Stadium ― his second show in less than a year across the causeway.
Throughout his tour so far, the 24-year-old has left thousands in awe of his ability, not only for his vocal powers but the way he delivers his songs, along with a charming vibe that permeates through the air.
Besides that, his emotional displays during his tour have only resulted in more admiration for the youngster from Redditch, England.
When he kicked off his tour in San Francisco, a fan threw a rainbow flag on stage and he grabbed it while performing his song Woman.
In the aftermath of last year’s Manchester bombing, Styles paid tribute to the 22 victims of the suicide bombing with this message: "I stand with you Manchester, thanks for spending some time with us.”
If you thought he was all about tributes and love, you got it wrong.
During the opening act of his show in Dublin on Monday, he surprised his opening act Mabel at the end of her set by throwing a pie in her face.
Romantic, charming and even a prankster, Styles’ talent goes beyond that.
There’s nothing hotter than when Styles beats up some of his latest singles dressed in a suit.
He looked every inch the model during his tour as he epitomised a flamboyant rock star, at times seemingly as fashionable as Elvis Presley and rocking moves like Mick Jagger.
Singaporeans can expect Styles’ performance to be just as good, if not better, as his show in the Lion City last November.
His self-titled album has been a hit, reaching number one on the UK singles chart shortly after its release last May.
It also debuted at number one in the United States, Australia, Sweden and Canada and has close to one billion streams on Spotify as of Friday.
Expect Styles to belt out hits such as Sign of the Times, Two Ghosts, Kiwi and Sweet Creature along with a number of One Direction numbers.
An entertainer that has come of age and from a boyband member to a great in the making.
His sound, costume and swagger are the reasons you do not want to miss this show in Singapore.
Tickets are priced from S$98 (RM290.75) to SGUS$228 (RM676.43). VIP packages are available from S$488 (RM1,447.80) .
All tickets are subject to a S$ (RM11.87) booking fee.
If you can’t afford it, fear not, Malay Mail and Lushington Entertainments are giving away four tickets worth up to RM2,000 to two lucky readers.
