LOS ANGELES, April 12 — Melissa McCarthy has joined the cast of the movie Super-Intelligence, directed by her husband Ben Falcone. Production is scheduled to start in July.
Actress Melissa McCarthy will star in the forthcoming action comedy, Super-Intelligence, directed by her husband, Ben Falcone, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The project was established last year, with Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone producing via their On the Day company. Screenplay is by Steve Mallory — who co-wrote The Boss, also directed by Ben Falcone — and production is due to start in July.
The American actress will play Carol Peters, a hard-working yet unfulfilled former business executive whose existence is turned upside down when she’s picked for observation by the world’s first super-intelligence. This form of artificial intelligence may or may not take over the world.
Super-Intelligence will be the fourth collaboration for husband-and-wife team, Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, after Tammy in 2014, The Boss in 2016, and Life of the Party, in US theatres May 11, 2018. — AFP-Relaxnews
