LOS ANGELES, Feb 27 — HBO has released the first trailer for upcoming Fahrenheit 451 that stars Michael B. Jordan.
The film is based on the novel by Ray Bradbury1953 novel which revolves around a dystopian future where reading is against the law as books are illegal and "firemen” are special operatives tasked with finding and burning all books.
Jordan plays Guy Montag, one of the "firemen” who struggles with his role as a law enforcer and with his mentor played by Michael Shannon.
The film also stars Sofia Boutella, Laura Harrier, Keir Dullea, Martin Donovan, Grace Lynn Kung, and Jane Moffatt.
The synopsis of the film reads: "Fahrenheit 451 is based on Ray Bradbury’s classic novel. In a future where the media is an opiate, history is rewritten and "firemen” burn books, Jordan plays Guy Montag, a young fireman who struggles with his role as law enforcer and with his "mentor”, played by Shannon.”
Fahrenheit 451 is set to premiere on HBO in May.
