SHAH ALAM, Feb 14 — Actor Mohd Azmil Mustapha Kamil, 65, passed away at his Section 9 home here at 12.40pm today, due to heart disease.

His younger brother Mohd Aziph posted on his Facebook account that Mohd Azmil’s remains would be brought to the Sultan Salahudin Abdul Aziz Mosque for prayers and buried at the Section 21 Muslim cemetery.

"We apologise on his behalf for any of his mistakes, and please pray for the repose of his soul,” he said.

Mohd Azmil had acted in box office hits such as Mekanik and Ali Setan in the 80s.

The single father is survived by five children, aged between 15 and 32 and also three grandchildren. — Bernama
