"My father’s last words were ‘So much wasted time,’” she tweeted.

The Arrow actress vowed never to let her father’s final words waste away.

"This will be a daily reminder for me to share my gratitude with those I love as to never waste another minute… thank you,” she added.

David Cassidy, the star actor of ‘70s sitcom The Partridge Family, died on Tuesday of complications from dementia and multiple organ failures. He was 67.

Cassidy played a very limited role in his daughter’s childhood and she was mainly raised by her mother and stepfather.

"I wasn’t her father. I was her biological father but I didn’t raise her. She has a completely different life,” he told People once.

"(But) I’m proud of her. She’s very talented. It’s hard for me to even accept how old she is now.”

He admitted in February that they were estranged and not talking.

Nonetheless, it appears that father and daughter may have mended bridges before his death.

Katie expressed gratitude for the recent outpouring of support.

"Words can’t express the solace our family’s received from all the love and support during this trying time,” her tweet continued.
