Abang Long Fadil 3 is expected to be made on a budget of RM4 million, and it is a present to the fans who have continuously given their support to the local Malay film industry.

"Filming is expected to begin after next year’s Aidilfitri, which falls after the screening of Syafiq’s seventh film KL Special Force in March 2018,” he said to Harian Metro.

The Skop Production Sdn Bhd producer also added that the cost for the third movie will be higher than the second as it will feature more big names in the industry.

Shooting period will also be lengthened in favour of producing a higher quality work which could stand on a par with many Hollywood films.

Yusof also voiced his confidence that the third movie will be able to record a higher box office collection than its predecessor, Abang Long Fadil 2. — CinemaOnline
