TAIPEI, Oct 29 — Taiwanese singer Jay Chou, who has been a mentor on reality show Sing! China for the past two seasons is rumoured not to be returning for the third season.

The rumours started after a Weibo account, claiming to have updates on the singer forwarded a post by an entertainment company that indicated that the singer had no intention of renewing his three-year contract.

However, the director of the reality series has come out to say that contracts between the mentors and the company are "discussed every year, and had no previous disputes.”

With no word yet from the singer himself or his representatives, fans will have to wait to see if this rumour turns out to be true.
