SEOUL, June 20 — Have Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo taken their onscreen romance off-screen?

It’s the stuff of K-drama fans’ dreams, but the co-stars of the 2016 hit drama Descendants of the Sun have denied (yet again) that they are secretly hooking up.

Rumours started to swirl when reports surfaced over the weekend that the pair had been spotted vacationing together in Bali.

Both denied the reports through their respective management agencies yesterday.

"Song Joong-ki went on vacation to Bali with his friends before starting promotional activities for his movie ‘Battleship Island,’” Blossom Entertainment was quoted as saying to Yonhap.

Meanwhile, Song Hye-kyo’s agency UAA acknowledged to Yonhap that the actress was in Bali recently, but denied that the two met.

"It is true she went to Bali but it was for a project meeting. We confirm that she did not meet with Song Joong-ki,” the company explained.

This is not the first time that rumours have surfaced suggesting that the two are more than friends.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted them shopping and dining together in New York in March, but they denied that they were dating then as well.
