KUALA LUMPUR, June 10 — Datuk Hans Isaac’s wedding with former beauty queen Aileen Gabriella Robinson has been postponed.

The actor-producer explained to Star2 that the delay was due to factors beyond the couple’s control.

For one, the father of the bride will be out of town.

"Gabriella’s father won’t be able to make it on that day as he will be in Europe for a work commitment,” he was quoted as saying.

Another is that the date clashes with vacations that almost half of the guest list have committed to.

"Secondly, 30 per cent to 40 per cent of the people on our guest list will be going on holiday at that time,” Isaac continued. "So I told Gabriella it won’t be nice without so many of our loved ones there. The best thing to do is to push the date.”

Isaac and Robinson had set July 29 as the date of their wedding.

Now, the groom-to-be said they had yet to decide a new wedding date because "Majestic Hotel, our reception venue, is fully booked so far. We are in the midst of working out the dates with them.”

However, it’s only a matter of when the big day will be, he added, because "we’re targeting for the wedding to be held within the next few months, as we’ve paid the deposit for the venue, decor, videography and so on.”
