LOS ANGELES, April 10 — While it’s obvious that fans loved Netflix’s Gilmore Girls revival, the show’s stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel may have downplayed talks of another season.

TVLine reported that both Graham and Bledel, in a panel interview posted by Deadline, as admitting that they have no immediate plans to slip back into their mother-daughter routine.  

"If it all existed in a vacuum, I would play that character until my dying day,” said Graham.

"Now it’s become, what could we do with this story that is satisfying, that is worth continuing. I don’t know if there is a need to do more. I wouldn’t want it to feel like we overstayed our welcome.”

Bledel shared similar sentiments, saying, "I’m just interested in telling a story that is dynamic and that I can hook into.”

Netflix has expressed major interest in continuing Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and while nothing is known for sure at this stage, we’re still keeping our fingers tightly crossed for more for sure!
