KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 — Farley ‘Jackmaster’ Funk is making his Malaysian debut this month.

Mark your calendars for March 31 as the house music pioneer takes to the decks for one night only at Marini’s on 57.

A contemporary of house music legend Frankie Knuckles, Chicago-born Farley was part of the Hot Mix 5, and also the first to use the technique of scratching in house music.

Farley is credited with giving house music its first big hit with Love Can Turn Around. His other hits over the years include Jack My Body, Hey Norton, The Trax U Lost and House Nation.

Doors open at 9pm, and the cover charge for the event is RM88++ which includes one beverage.
