LOS ANGELES, March 6 — As production picks up speed for the upcoming Jurassic World sequel, Geraldine Chaplin has been roped in to join the rest of the cast.
Comicbook.com reported that director JA Bayona, who is on board to direct the script penned by Colin Trevorrow (who helmed Jurassic World), took to Twitter to announce Chaplin’s addition to the film. Bayona had previously worked with Chaplin on A Monster Calls.
There’s no word on what character Chaplin will be playing nor are there plot details as yet. Chaplin will join returning stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, and B.D. Wong.
Also starring in the film are Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine and James Cromwell.
The Jurassic World sequel is scheduled for release on June 22, 2018.
