LOS ANGELES, Feb 23 — French actress Marie-Josée Croze is joining the cast of Amazon’s Jack Ryan in a recurring role reports Deadline.

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly actress will join John Krasinski and Abbie Cornish for the series, which is a reinvention of Tom Clancy’s famed hero Jack Ryan.

The plot centres on Jack Ryan (Krasinski), an up-and-coming CIA analyst who finds himself thrust into a dangerous field assignment where he uncovers a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.

Croze will play Sandrine, a kick-ass Parisian intelligence agent.

Croze is a Cannes Best Actress winner and is also known for her roles in Munich, Birdsong, and Murder on the Orient Express. — AFP-Relaxnews
