KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 14 — Yuna’s latest album Chapters has made it into Billboard’s Top 10 Best R&B Albums of 2016: Critic’s Picks!

The 30-year-old singer whose full name is Yunalis Mat Zara’ai, joins the ranks of Beyoncé, Rihanna, and John Legend, who took the first three spots in the ranking while Yuna is placed in seventh.

"My album Chapters is 1 of the 10 Best R&B Albums of 2016: Critic’s Picks… thank you @billboard!” Yuna tweeted.

Chapters is Yuna’s fifth album which includes collaborations with several international performers like Usher, DJ Premier and Jhene Aiko.

Some of the hits from the album include Crush, Places to Go and Lanes.

Yuna has also submitted her album Chapters to the Grammy’s under the categories of Best New Artiste and Best Urban Contemporary Album, hoping that she will get a nomination in the prestigious awards ceremony next year.

"The goal is to get nominated; it is very tough because I will have to score votes from the voting members of the Recording Academy, not the public. Either way, I’m excited and praying for the best,” Yuna said as quoted by New Straits Times. — The Hive Asia
