LOS ANGELES, Dec 7 — Actors Jeremy Irons and Matthias Schoenaerts have signed on for the upcoming spy thriller Red Sparrow, which stars Jennifer Lawrence.

Director by Francis Lawrence, who helmed the last three Hunger Games films, Red Sparrow is already set to premiere on November 10 of next year, reports Variety, which announced the newest cast members.

Joel Edgerton stars alongside Lawrence in the film, which follows two young intelligence offers in modern-day Russia. It is based on the novel of the same name by Jason Matthews.

Jeremy Irons is set to star in Assassin’s Creed and will reprise the role of Alfred in Justice League, while Schoenaerts (The Danish Girl) will appear in the upcoming Netflix movie Our Souls at Night. — AFP-Relaxnews
