Peter O’Toole’s final film ‘Diamond Cartel’ set for 2017 release

LOS ANGELES, Nov 30 — Peter O’Toole’s last film, Diamond Cartel, is to be released in theatres at the beginning of next year reports Deadline.

Cleopatra Entertainment, who hold the North American, UK, and Australian distribution rights to the film, have confirmed they will release the action-adventure movie domestically in theatres in the first quarter of 2017.

The film was completed in 2013 just before O’Toole’s died later that year on December 14.

As well as O’Toole’s appearance Michael Madsen, martial arts master Bolo Yeung (Enter the Dragon), Japanese TV and film star Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Kubo and the Two Strings) and Japanese-American 11-time professional kickboxing world champion Don "The Dragon” Wilson also feature.

The movie also stars Armand Assante and was directed by Salamat Mukhammed-Ali. — AFP-Relaxnews
