Coldplay to perform in Singapore April 1

SINGAPORE, Nov 15 — It’s official — Coldplay will be hitting Singapore shores next year.

The British rock band, which is currently on its A Head Full of Dreams tour, will hold their concert here on Saturday, April 1 2017 at the National Stadium.

Tickets from S$78 (RM240) will go on sale on next Monday, November 21 at 10am, and will be available at SportsHubTix. Limited VIP tickets at S$298 are also available.

Citi card customers will have access to pre-sale tickets from 10am on Thursday, November 17 to 11.59pm on Saturday, Nove,ber 19, while subscribers to Live Nation Lushington’s mailing list will also have a one-day access to purchase pre-sale tickets from 10am to 11.59pm, Sunday, November 20.

On Monday night (November 14), Coldplay fans went into a frenzy after the band dropped a video on Facebook showing their stops for their Asian tour, including Singapore, the Philippines, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan. Since March of this year, the A Head Full of Dreams Tour has played to 2.5 million people across Latin America, the US and Europe. The band last played in Singapore in 2009. — TODAY
