NEW YORK, Nov 10 — Christopher Lloyd is set to guest star next month on The Big Bang Theory reports Variety.

The Back to the Future star will appear in an episode of the hit show on Thursday, December 1 at 8pm on CBS.

Although details on his character and storyline are being kept under wraps, The Big Bang Theory executive producers commented on the news in a statement saying, "We’re so excited to be working with Christopher Lloyd and think we’ve created a fun part that fans will really enjoy.”

Earlier this week it was also announced that a spinoff series of the hit comedy was in the works, which would focus on the young Sheldon Cooper, the character played by Jim Parsons on the show. — AFP-Relaxnews
