Willem Dafoe set to star in ‘Opus Zero’

LOS ANGELES, Oct 29 — Willem Dafoe has been tapped to play a musicologist in project Opus Zero, which will mark the directorial debut of Australian producer Daniel Graham.

In the film, Dafoe is to play a musicologist who is grieving the death of his father and who settles in the town of Real de Catorce, San Luis Potosi in Mexico.

While trying to reconstruct a symphony by a Norwegian composer, he is drawn into investigating the disappearance of a woman from the village, reports Variety.

Shooting on the film begins next week in Mexico.

Dafoe shared the news of his role at the 14th Morelia International Film Festival, where he was a guest of honour. — AFP-Relaxnews
