LOS ANGELES, Oct 19 — Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been confirmed for upcoming sci-fi project Sovereign, reports Deadline.
The film tells the story of Gordon-Levitt’s character, who in the aftermath of his marriage breakdown goes to find his wife and the entire crew of a space station who have gone missing.
As he explores the ship, he not only discovers the truth about their disappearance, but is also forced to confront his own role in losing his wife.
Set to be directed by British filmmaker Marc Munden, Munden’s most recent work is the UK mini-series National Treasure, which aired just last month to great success. He is also known for his work on British TV series Utopia and The Crimson Petal and the White.
Gordon-Levitt can currently be seen as former CIA whistleblower Edward Snowden in Oliver Stone’s Snowden. — AFP-Relaxnews
