NEW YORK, Oct 3 — Wedding film company First Day Films captured the moment when Tom Hanks made a surprise appearance during a couple's wedding photo shoot in New York's Central Park on September 24.

The Oscar-winning actor was jogging in the park when he saw newlyweds Elisabeth and Ryan having their photos taken.

He stopped to join in — much to the delight of the bride and groom.

He then took a selfie to share on social media, and told them he was an ordained minister and was available if they needed someone to help them tie the knot.

The Forrest Gump star congratulated the couple on their big day — before resuming his run through the park. — Reuters
