PARIS, Oct 3 — US reality TV star Kim Kardashian has left France after being robbed at gunpoint at a luxury residence in Paris early this morning.

AFP reported that Kardashian gave her statement to the French police before departing from Le Bourget airport on the outskirts of the French capital.

Mail Online published exclusive pictures purportedly showing the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star boarding a private jet.

In some shots, a woman identified as Kardashian’s personal assistant can be seen ushering a figure with her head concealed under a coat onto the waiting jet, while in others, her personal bodyguard was captured loading luggage.

Mail Online added that her sister Kourtney Kardashian was with her.

It is unclear if their mother Kris Jenner or sister Kendall Jenner were on the flight. Kendall was photographed rushing to comfort her sister at the apartment in the aftermath of the incident.

Kardashian was in Paris to attend fashion week along with her mother and sisters.

Masked men held up the mother-of-two at gunpoint, stealing jewellery worth millions of dollars, police and her publicist said.

The five attackers struck around 3am (10am Malaysian time) inside the block used by celebrities and wealthy individuals behind the city’s Madeleine church, a police source told Reuters.

The attackers were wearing ski masks and jackets with police signs. Kardashian had been locked in the bathroom and tied up, the source said.

The Mirror reported that one of the men even held a gun to her head.

The men stole a jewellery box with €5 million (RM23.1 million) to €6 million worth of jewels and a ring worth about €4 million, the source said.

CNN was the first to break the news today.

"Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers,” Kim Kardashian’s spokesperson Ina Treciokas was quoted as telling the news organisation.

"She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”

The first signs that something was amiss was when Kardashian’s husband, rapper Kanye West cut short his set at the Meadows Festival in New York last night.

Concertgoers reported that West was in the middle of his hit song Heartless when he suddenly stopped the music, dropped the microphone and ran off the stage during the sold-out show that he was headlining in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

"I’m sorry. Family emergency. I have to stop the show,” West reportedly said.
