LOS ANGELES, Sept 30 — Elisabeth Shue is set to star opposite Bruce Willis in Death Wish, reports Deadline.

The actress will be playing the wife of Willis in the Eli Roth-directed movie, a remake of the 1974 Charles Bronson film.

The film will tell the story of Paul Kersey (Willis) whose life is destroyed by a violent crime against his wife and daughter.

Angry and frustrated that the bad guys were not brought to justice for what they did to his family, he starts hunting for the perpetrators himself.

Mike Epps, Dean Norris and Vincent D’Onofrio have also been confirmed to star in the film.

Shue is perhaps best known for Oscar-nominated performance in Mike Figgis’ Leaving Las Vegas, as well as four seasons playing Julie Finlay on CBS’ long-running crime drama CSI.

The actress can next be seen starring alongside Emma Stone in tennis biopic Battle of the Sexes. — AFP-Relaxnews
