LONDON, Sept 6 — The trailer for the highly anticipated Oasis documentary Supersonic has just dropped online.
Full of swagger and swearing in true Gallagher brothers’ style, it’ll bring memories of those glorious Britpop days flooding back for those who grew up in the 90s.
The documentary is by Mat Whitecross and produced by Asif Kapadia, who was the mastermind behind the recent Amy Winehouse and Ayrton Senna documentaries.
Made with the full co-operation of the band, it follows Oasis’ rise to fame over a period of three years up to their career-defining Knebworth appearance and features candid moments with Noel and Liam Gallagher, their beloved mum and members of the band and road crew.
Supersonic is set for release on October 2, 2016.
To quote a favourite phrase of Noel’s, it’s "f****** biblical”.
