SYDNEY, Aug 11 — Chance The Rapper and Nike have joined forces to release a song dedicated to the US Olympics basketball team.

In a bid to celebrate "the strength of unity and power of team” Nike unleashed a moving film titled Unlimited Together yesterday, featuring original lyrics from the Chicago-born artist and produced by up-and-coming US producer trio D. Phelps, Jack Red, and Smoko Ono.

The black-and-white video incorporates elements of the American national anthem and features Chance performing the new song against a backdrop of buildings displaying projections of American basketballers (via NME).

The release coincides with the ongoing Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro where the US will fight to maintain their title as the reigning Olympic champions in men’s basketball, having won golds in both London in 2012 and Beijing in 2008. — AFP-Relaxnews
