LOS ANGELES, Aug 9 — Amazon has teased a sneak peek to the new Woody Allen series set to premiere on the streaming service on September 30.
The comedy series, titled Crisis In Six Scenes was created and helmed by the four-time Academy Award-winning director and stars Miley Cyrus and Elaine May as well as Allen himself (via The Hollywood Reporter).
Set in the 1960s during turbulent times in the United States, the plot follows a middle-class suburban family whose lives are turned upside-down by an impromptu household guest.
The six half-hour episodes will also feature recurring guest performances by actors such as Rachel Brosnahan and John Magaro, with the show to be executive-produced by Erika Aronson and produced by Helen Robin. — AFP-Relaxnews
