With two seasons already aired since its 2014 premiere and another two ordered, each adapts one book in Diana Gabaldon’s genre-crossing series of novels.

There are a total of eight Outlander novels, with another in the pipeline, and Starz CEO Chris Albrecht has books five and six on his to-do list.

"They’re monumental, gigantic undertakings,” he said, reminding his audience at a Television Critics Association press day on August 1 that the network has "committed at least through book four.”

"As soon as I get to read books five and six, we will get to talk about that,” he said (via Vulture). — AFP-Relaxnews
