KUALA LUMPUR, July 14 — Actor Izzue Islam is set to deliver his latest role via Aliff Dalam 7 Dimensi directed by Faisal Ishak, where Izzue plays Aliff, a young man who can see and communicate with supernatural entities.

According to Izzue, this would be the most challenging role that he has had ever to play in all of his acting career.

"This is the first time that I’m taking on a role like this. I could say that the role has tested me quite a bit too. Aliff lives in his own world and is also very sombre upon discovering that he can see and interact with supernatural entities,” he was quoted as saying to Utusan Online.

Added the Suami Aku Ustaz actor, he was very satisfied throughout the duration of the film’s shoot as it had challenged his acting abilities and allowed him to do his own stunts.

The 25th Malaysia Film Festival (FFM) winner also said that he was so engrossed in his role that he had gotten carried away in his dreams while sleeping.

Izzue then mentioned that it was hard to separate himself from the role of Aliff and it took him about three months to adjust back to any sense of normalcy.

Astro Shaw’s Aliff Dalam 7 Dimensi is expected to be released in cinemas this September. — CinemaOnline
