LOS ANGELES, July 9 — Vince Neil could face up to six months in prison for allegedly assaulting an autograph seeker in April, Rolling Stone reported on Thursday.
The 55-year-old Mötley Crüe frontman has been charged with misdemeanour battery.
Neil stands accused of attacking a female fan in Las Vegas on April 7.
The altercation was caught on camera by TMZ.
In the clip, Neil can be seen allegedly grabbing the woman by her hair and pulling her to the ground.
Nicolas Cage, who was there at the time, then got into a brawl with Neil while trying to restrain him outside the Aria Resort & Casino.
The 52-year-old actor could be heard yelling, "Stop this s*** now!”
This is not the first time that Neil has had a brush with the law.
In 2011, he was charged with battery for allegedly hitting his ex-girlfriend Alicia Jacobs. He avoided jail time, and the charge was dropped after he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.
