LOS ANGELES, July 8 — The upcoming Alicia Vikander movie Tulip Fever has been pushed back from July 15 to next year reports Variety.

The Weinstein Company announced that the new release date for the movie would be February 24, 2017.

Set in 17th century Amsterdam, the film tells the story of a young married woman (Vikander) who embarks on a passionate affair with the artist sent by her husband to paint her portrait. The two lovers then enter the tulip business in order to finance their escape to a new life.

Based on the novel by Deborah Moggach, the film was directed by Justin Chadwick and written by Tom Stoppard, and also stars Judi Dench and Christoph Waltz. — AFP-Relaxnews
