LOS ANGELES, July 7 — Blair Underwood will be joining ABC’s FBI thriller Quantico as a season two regular reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Underwood will play charming CIA officer Owen Hall, who despite his appearances as a dedicated, intelligent and inspirational CIA officer, may not be all he seems.

Commenting on the news, Quantico creator/executive producer Joshua Safran said in a statement, "Blair Underwood is the kind of actor you dream of writing for. Be it romantic comedy, dark drama, or high-octane thriller — there is nothing he can’t do. We look forward to creating a role that will showcase his huge range and boundless charisma.”

The news sees Underwood join Priyanka Chopra and the Looking star Russell Tovey for the upcoming season of the show.
