LOS ANGELES, June 17 — British actor Orlando Bloom is joining the case of Smart Chase: Fire and Earth reports Variety.

The Shanghai-set action thriller tells the story of a washed-up private security agent who is ambushed as he attempts to escort a pricey Chinese antique out of Shanghai.

The movie is being directed by the Night Fare director Julien Seri, with filming due to start in August.

Orlando Bloom will be seen next year in the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film, Dead Men Tell No Tales. — AFP-Relaxnews
