LOS ANGELES, June 15 — Jeff Daniels is set to join the Netflix limited period drama series Godless reportsDeadline.

Daniels will join previously confirmed Jack O’Connell, with Merritt Wever (Nurse Jackie), Jeremy Bobb (The Knick) and Thomas Brodie-Sangster (The Maze Runner) also set to join the show.

Set in a 1800s New Mexico mining town, Godless will follow the story of Frank Griffin, played by Daniels, the leader of a notorious gang searching for the man, played by O’Connell, who was once like a son to him but is now his mortal enemy.

Godless will be written, directed and executive produced by Scott Frank, who has recently also been working on the upcoming big-screen adaptation of video game “Assassin’s Creed”. — AFP-Relaxnews
